Investors

CLC Labs is an applied AI systems lab building infrastructure products for governed, cost-aware AI execution. We're open to conversations with aligned investors who understand infrastructure and long-term platform development.

What we build

CLC Labs develops products from a shared research agenda around AI execution: cost control, policy enforcement, auditability, repeated context processing, and reusable vertical structure.

CachePilot is the live commercial wedge for governed OpenAI usage. LE Control Plane and the Vertical Training Compiler extend the same thesis into customer-hosted multi-step inference and vertical training workflows.

Vertical Training Compiler

Compiler for turning repetitive vertical corpora into reusable structure and measurable training efficiency.

The problem

Cost explosion with workflow depth

Multi-step agent workflows reprocess shared context at every step. Ten steps means ten times the compute for the same context—costs scale linearly with depth, not value delivered.

Limits of existing optimizations

Current optimizations target individual inference calls: faster execution, better batching, system compression. They generally don't address redundant execution across sequential workflow steps.

Our approach

Drop-in runtime

LE Runtime introduces an execution-layer runtime alongside existing inference without requiring changes to agent logic, prompts, or inference configuration. Adoption is incremental and low-risk.

Execution reuse

The runtime reuses prior execution work across workflow steps, eliminating redundant context processing while maintaining correctness guarantees.

Measurable outcomes

Customers evaluate impact through defined metrics: avoided computation ratio, workflow depth, latency reduction. Results are verifiable and reportable.

Why now

Shift toward agentic systems

Production AI is moving from single-turn interactions to multi-step workflows with shared context and sequential reasoning.

Rising inference costs

Infrastructure teams are experiencing unpredictable spend as workflows scale, creating demand for cost control at the execution layer.

Self-hosting pressure

Organizations are bringing inference in-house for control and cost management, creating a market for runtime-level optimization tools.

As capability and context sizes grow, execution efficiency—not inference quality—becomes the limiting factor.

Agentic workflows are moving into production, and execution overhead from repeated context processing is becoming a structural constraint that existing optimizations cannot address.

Proof & focus

We provide evaluation materials that let potential customers measure impact on their actual workflows. The focus is on production readiness: correctness guarantees, measurable outcomes, and incremental adoption paths.

This is applied research with commercial surfaces. We prioritize reliability, observability, compatibility with existing stacks, and measured customer value.

Defensibility

Execution-layer differentiation

We operate at a different layer than inference providers, orchestration frameworks, or inference optimizers. This creates a distinct wedge with complementary, not competitive, positioning.

Proprietary components

LE Runtime includes proprietary technology. Certain aspects are patent pending. The implementation is not open-source.

What we're looking for

We're interested in conversations with investors who understand infrastructure development cycles, appreciate execution-layer differentiation, and have experience with platform businesses. This is a long-term build, not a quick flip.

Ideal partners are those who can help with infrastructure go-to-market, enterprise sales cycles, and platform strategy—not just capital.
